When we do not have enough foster homes and find a dog is on death row, we take them in where we board them in kennels - which costs about $20 a day! Our volunteers donate their time - and driving/gas - to walk these dogs and bring them to the adoption events, without expecting anything but doggie kisses in return.

Some of the dogs we take in require special medical care either due to illness, poor nutrition or abuse. These costs can add up very quickly and the adoption fees simply do not cover these extra costs.

If you would like to help one of our dogs, please consider making a donation in their name. We will be sure your donation goes towards that specific dog’s medical bills/treatment or kennel fees.

Duke is another rescue who is heartworm positive. He has gone thru treatment and will be rechecked in March to make sure he no longer has this terrible parasite. Great news is, he has recently been adopted to a very nice couple who will help him with his recovery. Bad news is, his adoption fee did not cover the cost of treatment, so we need donations to help!
