donation to Chicagoland Dog Rescue. Our dogs, volunteers and staff
appreciate your interest in supporting our very special cause.
Chicagoland Dog Rescue is a non-profit, charitable 501(c)(3)
organization. All contributions to Chicagoland Dog Rescue are tax
deductible. You can be confident that your donation will be used
for the benefit of our rescue dogs.
Here is a list of some things that we could really use to help our
cause. You don't need to foster a dog or even own a dog to help a dog
find a home.
postage stamps
money (always needed for
everything...our little friends are in need of shelter, food and health
care. As we don't have our own shelter, this cost us money daily. On
average it costs us $12/per day per dog to feed and shelter the dogs we
take in.)
health care (since many of us are
strays or were abused, we require care, shots, bandaging, neutering...
are you a vet who wants to help - contact us via this web site?)
foster homes (we need people with
big hearts and patience to help us nurse some of our dogs back to
health. Some of them need physical nursing while others need
psychological nursing as well. If you have enough room in your house and
your heart to help us, please contact us via this website.)
salable items (items in good shape
that might be sold in garage-style format so that we can earn some
money.)
sheets/towels/or rugs
(we need a place to sleep and cuddle, towels to dry us after we're
bathed. they don't have to be fancy... we don't need Telletubbie
comforters... just a place to curl up and call our own.)
dog cages/kennels/kennel runs
(there are so many of us and we all need a place to stay and a place to
play until a family invites us to come live with them.)
leashes/collars/dog toys/treats
(so many dogs and so few items to use on them. CDR runs through these
things quickly when they care for us)
land (although most of us are
fostered in actual homes, sometimes the numbers grow so huge we have to
be housed elsewhere. we could sure use some land for walking and running
and stretching our muscles
dog grooming supplies (a beautiful
dog is an adopted dog!)
